Job Introduction
To work early shift to start at 7am alternate late shift 8pm finish. To work every Saturday with a fixed day off during the week. Occasional Sunday working and Bank holiday working will be required. An exciting opportunity has arisen within Catering and Cleaning Services for a Market attendant to work at the above site. All varied cleaning duties and waste disposal are to be undertaken within the specified location. Due to the nature of the building, good customer service skills and retail experience would be an advantage. Successful candidates will be supported through an induction training programme. From October 2016 Central Government will be introducing a new Code of Practice as part of the Government Immigration Bill, which specifies that all public sector workers in a "customer facing" role will have the necessary level of fluency in English appropriate for the role they will be undertaking. This includes social workers, teaching staff and assistants and council employees. This will require that a person working in a "Customer Facing" role can speak, listen and understand Basic English as a minimum.
