We’re looking for an inspirational Deputy Manager to support our Home Manager with the day-to-day leadership, management, and smooth running of Ty Nant Care Home, our purpose-built specialist dementia care home.

The role will be 44hrs p.w, with 2 days for supernumerary., typical shift being 7:30am - 7:30pm.

About The Role

What You’ll Be Doing

* Leading and delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care
* Creating a calm, safe, and responsive environment for residents
* Developing individual care plans that promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence
* Supporting and supervising a dedicated clinical team to be their best
* Building trusted relationships with families and professionals
* Overseeing clinical governance, compliance, and continuous improvement
* Acting as a role model for compassionate, evidence-based care
* Representing the Home Manager when they are unavailable

What We’re Looking For

* Registered Nurse (RMN preferred with strong clinical skills, or RGN with extensive experience in older people’s care)
* Proven leadership experience in a health or social care setting
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to mentor and support others
* A positive, proactive approach and passion for making a difference
* Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
* Someone who values dignity, respect, and choice – always
