Overview
Woodlawn School is a fully inclusive school catering for pupils 2½ to 18 years with physical, medical, sensory needs and/or moderate learning difficulties. We have a number of vacancies across all age phases and an increasing pupil roll, requiring additional staff to support all areas of Teaching and Learning from September. There are opportunities from supporting in EYFS and Primary through to supporting Secondary and Post 16 pupils.
Responsibilities
* Attend to the pupils’ personal needs and implement related personal programmes including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.
* Supervise and support pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning.
* Establish good relationships with pupils, act as a role model, and respond appropriately to individual needs.
* Work under the direction of the class teacher and alongside other Teaching Assistants within the class.
