About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on, electrically biased Maintenance Manager to lead a close-knit team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves hands-on maintenance, project management, and team development. You will ensure the efficient operation of the production facility, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate preventative maintenance for electro-mechanical equipment.
2. Perform reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis.
3. Plan, budget, and manage installation and project work.
4. Maintain engineering records and ensure compliance with standards.
5. Manage on-site contractors.
6. Collaborate with operations to support continuous improvement.
7. Ensure risk assessments and safe working procedures are in place.
8. Manage stock control for spares and consumables.
9. Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team.
About You:
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
* Leadership or supervisory experience in an engineering team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in Food or Manufacturing sectors.
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
