We have a new opportunity for a Site Engineer with at least 1 year relevant experience to play an important role in contributing to our vision of delivering smarter, greener infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Setting out of the detailed works as per drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis.
* Assisting with task briefings.
* Checking Inspection Test Plans and ensuring installation on site is correct according to specifications.
* Resolving technical problems at all levels.
* Quality Control including populating inspection checklists and ITP’s.
* Ensuring quality control is adhered to and activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with company Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.
* Liaising with Site/Project Manager regarding methods, QA, and testing requirements.
* Assisting the Site/Project Manager in selection and methods of construction and producing RAMS for approval with practical knowledge.
* Ensuring management and compliance of company procedures and policies.
* Liaising with the HSEQ Team regarding work task methods.
Qualifications & Requirements
* At least 1 year relevant experience.
* A valid CSCS Card.
* Experience in set out and surveying using Total Station & GPS.
* Skill to utilise AutoCAD and draft as‑builts.
* Experience drafting safe systems of work (RAMS, WPP's, etc.) or quality documentation.
* Civil 3D experience beneficial.
