Here at Stonewater, we are seeking an experienced and proactive leader with a strong background in construction, project management, and contract administration.
As our Operations Manager - Retrofit (internally known as Senior Retrofit Delivery Manager), you will support the Head of Retrofit Delivery to achieve strategic objectives related to retrofit and decarbonisation projects. You will ensure projects are compliant, delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and customer satisfaction standards.
You will collaborate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery, compliance with PAS 2035, Trustmark, and grant funding requirements. You will manage and monitor financial aspects of retrofit programs, prepare budgets, oversee expenditures, and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
You will oversee retrofit installation quality, implement monitoring and inspection processes, and serve as a point of contact for team queries, providing guidance and technical input for smooth delivery.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and effective collaboration skills. Leadership, stakeholder management, and delivering high-quality outcomes are essential.
Requirements include:
* Relevant degree or equivalent in construction, building services, energy, or project management.
* Specific training or certification such as Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management or PAS 2035 awareness.
* Experience overseeing large-scale retrofit or construction contracts.
* Understanding of retrofit principles and standards (e.g., PAS 2035, WH: SHF, ECO).
* Skills in building pathology, construction, and materials innovation.
* Ability to prepare complex specifications for domestic refurbishment works.
* Experience with compliant procurement activities and knowledge of public sector regulations.
* Strong background in budget management and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations (2015).
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Housing Management systems, and mobile technology.
