Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
1. Participate in the design and implementation of large marine electrical installations, focusing on innovative products.
2. Collaborate with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and vessel-specific system variants.
3. Utilise professional drawing software, specifically EPlan.
4. Work with a multidisciplinary team to integrate electrical systems into advanced marine technology solutions.
5. Support the project lifecycle from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring technical excellence.
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; a master's degree is a plus.
2. Some experience with large marine electrical installations, understanding sector-specific complexities.
3. Knowledge of ATEX/IEC Ex rated installations, emphasizing safety and compliance in explosive atmospheres.
4. Proficiency in electrical drawing packages, with EPlan preferred.
5. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly.
