They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally within a nursing home or care setting. Strong knowledge of different diets, nutrition, hydration, and allergies. Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Passionate about delivering high-quality meals and enhancing residents’ wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals in line with residents’ dietary requirements, nutritional needs, and food preferences. Support the Head Chef in menu planning, stock management, and kitchen operations. Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are consistently met. Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff. Adapt meals to accommodate allergies, specific diets, and hydration needs. Contribute to a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents.
