James Andrews is proud to be working with a reputable Housing Association to recruit a permanent Commercial Manager to join a dynamic team and help drive the successful delivery of the Development & Sales programme.
The role is working in London on a hybrid model of three days at home, two days in the office. The annual salary for the role is £70,000 per annum.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will provide strategic support across procurement, contract negotiations, and cost control - ensuring robust frameworks and partnerships are in place to mitigate risk and deliver value.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, playing a key role in securing the commercial success of the organisations ambitious housing initiatives.
The range of function which are covered include:
1. Providing construction procurement and framework support that will influence the delivery of projects and the overall programme
2. Work on the negotiation of constructions contracts and development agreements
3. Assist by providing advice on cost information provided by consultants
4. Ensure that risk registers are developed and maintained, as appropriate
5. Reviewing and negotiating cost sum analyses, for inclusion in build contracts
