As a Dog Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the relationship between dogs and their owners through effective training techniques. Your expertise will help to improve behaviour, obedience, and overall well-being of dogs in various settings. This position requires a passion for animal care and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients. You will be running group classes and working on a 1-2-1 basis with owners and dogs.
Duties
* Conduct training sessions for dogs of all breeds and ages, focusing on obedience and behavioural modification.
* Develop customised training programmes tailored to the specific needs of each dog and owner.
* Provide guidance and support to dog owners on training techniques and best practices.
* Monitor progress and adjust training methods as necessary to ensure optimal results.
* Maintain a safe and positive environment for both dogs and clients during training sessions.
* Assist with basic animal care tasks, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs as needed.
* Collaborate with veterinary professionals when necessary to address any health-related concerns affecting training.
