We are hiring immediately for a Business Development Manager in our Building Services Sector in the Northeast, a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.

What you'll do:


Position holders are responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating, new sales and marketing growth opportunities, and/or providing technical product expertise. Activities include:

8. Promoting Aggreko brand and identify, negotiate, and manage strategic relationships.
9. Identifying and developing optimal revenue models, sales/distribution channels and price determination, new product development initiatives to support prioritization and investment decision-making.
10. Spend time targeting, developing, and maintaining favorable relationship with new and existing national accounts that are in alignment with personal and company goals and strategies.
11. Assist in identifying market potential, establishing pricing and market strategies by market research or study.
12. Design and implement marketing plan and sales programs, which focus on external as well as internal “awareness” of targeted sectors or national accounts, promote new markets and improve competitive position.
13. Deliver base business opportunities to local business units.
14. Mentor and/or coach local sales representatives in approach and technique as needed.

What you’ll do:

15. Cold calling, account management, presentation development, closing deals
16. Track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders
17. Selling equipment rental and services to our potential customers
18. Developing and executing an annual territory sales plan
19. Partnering with the operations and logistics teams to execute projects
20. You’ll have general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

21. 7-10 years of direct business to business sales experience
22. Advanced knowledge of the commercial construction industry
23. Strong background in technologies like Zoom Info, Salesforce, and other intelligent sales platforms.
24. Proven track record of attaining maximum sales results through successful interaction with established customers and new prospects.
25. Passion for excellent customer service and a strive to exceed sales targets.
26. Outstanding negotiating, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
27. Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
28. Partnership with other areas of the Aggreko business (Ops, Fleet, Logistics)
