Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5 pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
Salary: GBP 33,000 p.a.

We are looking for motivated job coaches who enjoy delivering practical hands-on support to people with learning disabilities. We work in a person-centred way and help individuals to identify their skills, aspirations, and support needs.
As a Job Coach, you'll work with people in employment to further develop their skills for work, teamwork, and communication, with the aim of supporting them to maintain and thrive in their roles. You'll identify training and development opportunities through practical work activities.
This role is varied, offering opportunities to work in different employment settings, and is a busy, hands-on role.
All new colleagues will be offered the chance to enroll in a Level 2 Employment Apprenticeship, with prospects to progress to higher apprenticeship levels.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver hands-on work skills training through practical work, helping individuals develop general and independent skills.
* Work with participants to identify their skills, strengths, support needs, and employment preferences.
* Create a positive and supportive environment, working in a person-centred way, motivating, communicating, listening, and problem-solving.
* Meet customer service and quality standards.
* Plan development steps with participants, based on assessments and pathways, providing practical support to achieve targets.
* Co-produce support plans with participants and employers, facilitating job carving when appropriate.
* Work from local hubs and outreach locations, sometimes alongside other services, to increase accessibility.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Experience working with people with disabilities, especially learning disabilities.
* Knowledge of workplace adjustments.
* Understanding of inclusive employment pathways.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience in training needs analysis and delivery.
* Good organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Desirable
* Knowledge of SEQF standards.
* Qualifications in Care, Training, or related fields.
