Main responsibilities
. Diagnose and repair hybrid and electric buses.
. Live high voltage working, repairs and diagnostics.
Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
Carry out vehicle servicing in accordance with central engineering SOPs.
Be fully conversant with the overhaul and repair of Hybrid and EV system concepts, diagnostic methods and repair principles .

Act in a manner as to ensure the health, safety, welfare, environment and fire safety of yourself and others in the organisation, as well as any customers, clients and visitors - understanding emergency and evacuation arrangements
Ensure your working environment is maintained in a safe and tidy condition
Act proactively identifying any unsafe practices or safety risks in the organisation, reporting appropriately
Ensure adherence to all relevant company and Go-Ahead group company policies and procedures
Requirements
Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent.
Must be fully conversant with the safe operation of workshop equipment and the overhaul and repair of Electrical and Hybrid vehicle systems.
Must be in the possession of, or capable of obtaining a full PCV licence and forklift truck licence if required.
