We're looking to add a Project Engineer to our team here at Vipond, for an onsite role, initially in Glasgow and Warrington. This opportunity is suitable for someone looking to progress towards becoming a Project Manager. The role requires occasional travel and staying away from home.

SALARY: Up to £40K, dependent on experience

Responsibilities:
* Contributing to project initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders including Sales, Design, and QS.
* Producing and maintaining project programmes.
* Communicating with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintaining central project file records.
* Attending internal project Cost To Complete (CVR) meetings.
* Completing and submitting all end-of-project documentation such as O&M manuals, As-Fitted Drawings, and Certification to relevant stakeholders.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of engineering drawings.
* Experience managing small to large budget projects (£5k to £2m) in the construction industry.
* Experience in managing and supervising on-site labour and resources.
* Current and relevant SMSTS and CSCS Card.
* Knowledge of CDM Management Principles.
* Relevant NVQ/NHD/HNC/City & Guilds qualification within Building Services or Mechanical discipline.
As a Sprinkler Project Engineer, you will support the Project / Site Manager(s) within the Main Contracts (Special Risk division) to deliver fire protection projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
This role offers valuable experience working on diverse projects, including commercial, energy-from-waste facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.
