Responsibilities
Support patients attending the Oncology Outpatients department for consultations, investigations and cancer treatments.
Assist patients with mobility, personal care, comfort and nutritional needs.
Monitor and report patient observations and any changes in condition to the nursing team.
Prepare clinical areas, equipment and treatment rooms for patient appointments and procedures.
Support Registered Nurses during clinical procedures and treatments.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
Ensure clinical and non‑clinical stock levels are maintained.
About the role Working within our Oncology Outpatients department, you will support patients attending for consultations, investigations and cancer treatments. We are looking for someone who has previously worked on a hospital ward and is confident providing direct patient care within a busy clinical environment.
