 
        
        Role Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to provide implementation support for Russell's global multi‑manager/asset/alternatives business, contributing to the overall strategy development and implementation for portfolios. The role involves innovating daily processing, driving process and technology enhancements, implementing operational policies, and performing daily functions such as validating portfolio information, analyzing portfolios relative to market movements, recommending implementation options, coordinating trade execution, and engaging with external investment managers on trading details.
Responsibilities
 * Portfolio Management: Provide liquidity analysis, exposure analysis and implementation recommendations; account for day‑to‑day implementation of physical and derivatives strategies; create and execute orders; ensure timely execution.
 * Implementation: Act as key resource for real‑time coordination across asset classes with internal and external parties; contribute to strategy development and implementation; support the Head of IPM in improving operational infrastructure.
 * Portfolio Transition: Coordinate fund and separate account transition events, including launches and closures, manager changes and new product launches; collaborate with departments to establish implementation strategies; ensure risk‑controlled plans.
 * Regulatory & Business Conduct: Demonstrate exemplary conduct, embed ethics and regulatory standards, identify and mitigate risk, and contribute to HR regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
 * CFA or progress toward charter required.
 * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
 * Relevant experience in financial services, trading, investment operations, or equivalent.
 * Advanced understanding of securities markets with background in multi‑asset trading and alternatives.
 * In‑depth knowledge of equity, fixed income, FX investment process.
 * Strong knowledge of custodian and investment accounting processes.
 * In‑depth understanding of markets and technical issues for all asset types.
 * Ability to partner with trading desks to develop and implement execution strategies.
 * Skill to use advanced quantitative techniques and technology to research and develop strategies.
 * Ability to embed proprietary insights into systems for stronger returns, efficiency, scale, and risk control.
 * Uses technology to provide attribution analytics supporting client communication.
 * Self‑starter, prioritizes workloads, operates under tight deadlines.
 * Advanced knowledge of global financial markets, portfolio management techniques.
 * Strong presentation, client service and communication skills.
