Responsibilities
* Provide neurodevelopmental assessments and interventions for children, adolescents and families using evidence‑based interventions for neuro‑developmental disorders and other mental health difficulties.
* Ensure high‑quality CAMHS assessment of children and families referred to the service.
* Monitor and review young people, including recording their physical observations in the ADHD Clinic.
* Complete assessments with referred young people, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic approaches, either alone or as a member of the multidisciplinary team; provide medication and physical reviews for those on medication.
Qualifications
* NMC mental‑health nursing qualification and registration with significant post‑qualification experience in mental‑health services to postgraduate diploma level.
* Experience of case management of young people, multi‑agency working, with knowledge and experience of neuro‑developmental disorders.
