They are seeking a driven Business Development Manager and Team Lead to play a pivotal role in driving growth across their client portfolio within the wider Group. This Business Development Manager and Team Lead role is ideal for a commercially astute professional who combines strategic vision with a hands-on approach to business development and leadership. Salary and Benefits: * A salary of £DOE per annum * Working Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm * Hybrid working arrangement * Annual leave * Pension scheme * Onsite parking Duties and Responsibilities: Client and Business Development * Take ownership of key client relationships following a structured handover period, ensuring successful introductions and continuity of service * Develop a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses to retain and grow key accounts * Drive sustainable pipeline growth and deliver measurable increases in won work for assigned clients * Lead timely renewal discussions to maintain long-term partnerships * Personally engage in business development activity, including: * Building and maintaining a pipeline through proactive outreach * Nurturing leads and converting them into opportunities * Conducting business meetings and preparing tailored proposals * Using HubSpot, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Bloom Growth for CRM and pipeline management * Present updates and performance summaries to the Board * Identify and pursue new strategic markets and client opportunities for the Group, supported by measurable KPIs and commission incentives Team Leadership & Management * Oversee the on-boarding of new clients to ensure the delivery of tactical plans aligned with agreed strategies * Manage day-to-day client relationships, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service * Coordinate resources—people, systems, and tools—to support efficient account management * Maintain and improve business processes and quality standards across your accounts * Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development and Marketing professionals, supporting recruitment and onboarding, setting performance objectives and development plans and providing regular feedback and fostering a high-performance culture Minimum Skills and Experience Required: * Proven experience in business development, client management, or account leadership ideally within a professional services or B2B environment * Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills * Strategic thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans Why Join? * Work directly with the leadership team of a forward-thinking, growing organisation * Lead a talented team and shape the company’s business development strategy * Opportunities for professional growth
