An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (echo) at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. You would be expected to work at all 3 sites – Maidstone Hospital, Tunbridge Wells Hospital and the Community Diagnostic Centre at Maidstone.

Key Responsibilities
* Work in non‑invasive cardiology, including echocardiography, stress echo, valve clinic & TOE.
* Train and educate physiologists and other staff members in echo/non‑invasive techniques.
* Support invasive and non‑invasive investigations such as physiologist‑led exercise stress testing, tilt testing, ambulatory monitoring, device follow‑up and complex invasive procedures (angiography, PCI, PPM, ICD/CRT implantation, EP).
* Participate in physiologist‑led valve clinic and Rapid Access Heart Failure Clinic.
* Develop and deliver regular training sessions, mentorship and leadership support.
* Develop postgraduate skills in echocardiography and contribute to service expansion.
Qualifications & Requirements
* BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) / BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Cardiac Science) / MSc Healthcare Science (Cardiac) or equivalent plus BSE accreditation.
* Registration with HCPC or AHCS is desirable.
* Experience or competency in echocardiography and related cardiac investigations.
* Ability to work split shifts between 8am and 8pm, including weekends.
* Strong motivation, enthusiasm and a collaborative approach within an innovative team.
