This opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional looking to apply their expertise in daylight, sunlight, and lighting impact assessments within a growing and supportive multidisciplinary environment. Key Requirements: Demonstrable experience in the delivery of lighting and daylight assessments. In-depth knowledge of BRE guidelines and UK planning standards. Proficient with lighting and daylight modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Waldrum Tools). Excellent technical report writing and communication skills. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Preferred Skills: Working towards membership with the Institute of Lighting Professionals (ILP). Experience working within a consultancy setting on commercial and residential planning applications. Understanding of overshadowing, glare, and mitigation techniques in urban planning contexts. Ability to liaise with planning authorities, clients, and third-party consultants.
