Are you passionate about sustainable travel and helping children gain the confidence to cycle safely and independently? We are looking for an organised, motivated Bikeability Project Manager to lead our cycle training programme and inspire the next generation of active travellers. About the Role: As our Bikeability Project Manager, you will take the lead on delivering a high quality, impactful cycle training programme across local schools and community settings. You will manage a team of instructors, coordinate with schools and partners, and ensure training is delivered safely, efficiently and to national standards. This is a role for someone who thrives working independently, takes initiative, and brings excellent communication skills to every interaction — from school leaders to parents, children, colleagues, and delivery partners. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, manage and support a team of Bikeability instructors • Plan, coordinate and oversee the delivery of the Bikeability cycle training programme • Build strong, proactive relationships with schools and education partners • Promote sustainable and active travel, increasing cycling skills and confidence among children and young people • Monitor and evaluate programme quality, ensuring compliance with Bikeability and safeguarding standards • Manage schedules, resources and reporting to ensure smooth, efficient delivery • Work independently to drive improvements, solve problems and innovate within the programme About You: You will be a confident, motivated self starter who cares deeply about sustainable travel and helping children develop lifelong cycling skills. You will be skilled at balancing strategic oversight with practical delivery and enjoy leading a team in a dynamic, people focused environment.
