Hybrid (2 days on-site in Basingstoke, incl. Mondays)
Our client is seeking a Process Assurance Lead to drive the creation and oversight of a brand-new process assurance function. Following a team restructure and a rapidly expanding process repository, this newly created role will take ownership of establishing an assurance framework, ensuring that business processes across the organisation remain accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose.
This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape how process assurance is delivered across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and implement a scalable framework for process assurance across the business.
* Review and assure business processes before publication, ensuring accuracy and adherence to BPMN 2.0 standards.
* Conduct periodic process audits to verify compliance, risk controls, and operational effectiveness.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders across all directorates—from HR and finance to frontline services—to communicate findings and recommend improvements.
* Maintain and monitor a repository of over 600 published processes, ensuring they remain live and up to date.
* Work closely with Process Architects, Document Control, and Process Improvement teams to uphold quality and governance standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in business process management or process governance roles.
* Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0 and process assurance principles.
* Confident communicator with the ability to present findings to senior leadership and navigate sensitive discussions.
* Awareness of governance and compliance requirements, including GDPR, ISO accreditation, and internal controls.
* Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Adonis or Visio is desirable.
* Experience setting up assurance frameworks or methodologies from scratch is highly advantageous.
* Background in housing, compliance-heavy sectors is a plus.
Why Apply?
This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a newly created function with the backing of a supportive, skilled team and a flat leadership structure. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the approach, influence change, and help define best practice across the organisation. If you enjoy blending technical process rigour with cross-functional collaboration, this could be the role for you.
