Operations Coordinator

Travel Requirements: Infrequent domestic and international travel

Job Overview
In this role you will support the Operations Department with the day-to-day running of the business by helping with the planning, preparation, and shipment of orders to sites globally. This will require you to use our production forecasting models and maintain inventory tracking to ensure that there will be the correct quantity of materials for each project. There may also be scope for you to assist with wider promotion of the business at trade shows or client facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order preparation and shipping organisation.
2. Warehouse and inventory management.
3. Production planning and forecasting
4. Process improvement and manufacturer quality assurance, supplier/manufacturer visits.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
• Experienced in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Desirable:
• Previous experience with inventory management processes
• Experience in the wind industry (e.g. project management, blade technician, etc)
• Warehouse and assembly experience
• Storage and logistics experience
Personal Attributes
Essential:
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Close attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with a range of roles.
Addition Information:
* Salary of up to circa £40,000 dependent on experience
