About the Role
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As a Supervisor (OHL), you will play a crucial role in managing multiple teams of field operatives. Your leadership will ensure that our projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Reporting directly to the Assistant/Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our operations!
Your Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will:
* Install, build, and refurbish overhead lines up to 33kV.
* Ensure all work aligns with Freedom’s standards, policies, and customer requirements.
* Continuously develop your skills to stay ahead of legislative changes.
* Guide your team to implement operations safely and effectively.
* Monitor progress and performance, reporting to the Project Manager as needed.
* Coordinate resources with the Project Manager for optimal project completion.
* Uphold safety rules and procedures, ensuring compliance among team members.
* Collaborate with third parties for seamless project execution.
* Conduct daily risk assessments and maintain site safety at all times.
* Report and investigate accidents and near misses promptly.
* Implement Freedom’s values in every aspect of your work.
* Manage Traffic Management aspects effectively.
* Lead in emergencies, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
* Conduct site safety inspections and complete necessary paperwork.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
* Freedom Driver Permit/Driving Licence
* First Aid Certification
* Manual Handling Training
* Working at Height Certification
* Winch Operation Certification
* IPAF 1b MEWP Operation Certification
* IOSH Managing Safely Certification
* NRSWA Supervisor Certification
* City & Guilds 2322 Certification
* DNO Authorisation (up to 33kV & Live Line Working)
* Safe Digging Techniques Training
* Environmental Awareness Training
* CDM Awareness Training
* Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme Certification
Beneficial Skills:
* Minimum 5 years of practical experience in Overhead Lines works up to 33kV.
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and its practical implications.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good IT skills.
