Responsibilities
* Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
* Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
* Have experience supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
* Be a confident, engaging and effective model, guide, leader and trainer.
* Be highly organised and ready to take initiative.
* Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
* This post requires an enhanced DBS check (cost covered) and an online search.
About the role
This role is based at Queensmead House School, an independent specialist day school in Windsor that provides high‑quality education for pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours. The clinician will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments, and offering individualised interventions based on clinical assessment and formulation.
