About this opportunity
The Identity & Authentication Platform delivers capabilities to enable LBG business areas secure client and digital authentication and identity across all their digital channels. The Platform delivers core products including Identity & Authentication as a Service, giving end-to-end packaged services of several components for self-serve consumption.
Whatyou’llbe doing:
1. Create andmaintainrobust APIs that enable secure and efficient communication between services.
2. Develop scalable microservices architectures that support high availability and performance.
3. Deliver solutions across bothpublic and private cloud platforms, ensuring reliability and security.
4. Participate as a valuedmemberof agile squads, contributing to planning, development, and continuous improvement.
5. Use best practices and design patterns to shape high-quality, maintainable solutions.
6. Advocate for “What Good Looks Like” in software engineering and help spread these standards across teams.
7. Take ownership of software delivery frominceptionto production, ensuring robustness and scalability.
8. Focus on building secure authentication systems to protect customers against fraud.
9. Work closely with architects, engineers, and technicians in theAuthentication Labto delivercutting-edgesolutions.
Whatyou’llneed
10. StrongSoftware Engineering experience, ideally focused onJava
11. ProvenexpertiseinAPI design and development
12. Hands-on experience with
13. microservices
14. Working knowledge ofAuthentication and Authorization concepts
15. Exposure toTest-Driven Development (TDD)andperformance engineering/cloud optimization
16. Solid understanding ofNetworkingandAPI Gateways
17. Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines,monitoringtools, containers, orchestration, and service mesh
18. Experience withDevSecOpspipelines and methodologies
