About the Role
Visiting Angels East Dorset and The New Forest are offering quality home care and support services. Carers will assist clients with daily living activities, including companionship, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, hygiene, dressing, and feeding, while promoting independence, safety, privacy, and dignity.
Caregivers will participate in developing and reviewing Person-Centred Care Plans and are expected to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Commitment to mandatory and ongoing training is required to ensure best practices.
Experience & Requirements
Experience in adult care is desirable but not essential; training is provided through Visiting Angels Academy. Applicants must have access to a vehicle.
Hours & Compensation
This is a part-time role, offering up to 16 hours per week on a permanent contract. Contracts and client assignments can be tailored to your availability, with optional additional hours.
Salary starts at £11.20/hour on weekdays, £12.70/hour on weekends, and £16.80/hour on bank holidays. Paid training is provided at £8.91/hour, and carers receive a company pension.
Travel & Perks
We pay 25p per mile for fuel and £8.91/hour for travel between clients. Additional benefits include a bonus scheme, retention bonus, and a 5% annual pay increase.
