Hilton Seafoods is looking for a Training Coordinator to join their Training team. You will manage a team of five direct reports and report to the Training Manager. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and maintaining training activities aligned with the Hilton Foods Learning and Development strategy. This role involves supporting sites to ensure colleagues are trained according to safety, legal, and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with departments to anticipate and plan for learning needs.
* Align learning plans with company objectives and KPIs.
* Collaborate with the business and SMEs to identify learning solutions.
* Research and curate appropriate training options.
* Plan and organize internal and external training events, manage provider relations, and support the training cycle.
* Mentor and coach SMEs in learning design and delivery.
* Utilize the learning management system effectively to maintain training records and organize training sessions.
* Support the team in upskilling through coaching and effective training methods.
* Manage the HMRC DAS apprentice account and support apprentices, work placements, and graduates.
* Assist in preparing and maintaining the training and development budget.
Candidate Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
* Proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication at all business levels.
* Basic understanding of training methods and LMS systems.
