Technical Consultant (Enterprise Architecture)

Our client is seeking a Technical Consultant specialising in Enterprise Architecture to support the continued growth of their consultancy function. The position combines strategic architecture, stakeholder engagement and solution design within complex enterprise and regulated environments.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Defining and maintaining enterprise architecture frameworks, standards and principles.
* Aligning technology strategies with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Developing high-level and solution architectures for complex programmes and projects.
* Supporting interoperability and integration across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders.
* Facilitating workshops and presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Leading architecture governance and design authority activities.
* Supporting security, compliance and data governance requirements.
* Assessing emerging technologies and modern architecture patterns.
* Supporting digital transformation and enterprise modernisation initiatives.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong Enterprise Architecture experience within telecoms, IT services or complex enterprise environments and demonstrate knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman. They will possess experience aligning IT strategy with business objectives and developing architecture solutions across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, alongside experience facilitating workshops and acting as a trusted advisor within client-facing consultancy roles. Experience within regulated or managed services environments would be advantageous, together with knowledge of cloud-native, API and microservices architecture patterns.
