The school caters to pupils in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, referred by schools or local authorities. With small class sizes (typically 8-12 students) and a nurturing approach, the school places a strong emphasis on pastoral care, mentoring, personal development, and work experience opportunities.
PSHE and Literacy Teacher - The Role
Deliver engaging and accessible lessons in PSHE and Literacy to KS3 and KS4 students
Inspire confidence and build positive relationships in a supportive, small-class environment
Contribute to the personal, social, and academic development of pupils
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral support
PSHE and Literacy Teacher - Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Literacy and/or PSHE at secondary level
A strong commitment to inclusive education and pastoral care
The ability to engage and motivate pupils with diverse needs and backgrounds
