A Little More About Your Role…
We are currently recruiting for a Structural Revit Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop and lead a team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design.
Working with an already established team of engineers and Revit/CAD technicians, you will
* Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
* Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the WSP business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
* Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction
* Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…
* Gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Experience in Building Structures as a Technician
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
* Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software
* Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided)
* Gained strong, practical experience of using Revit in a similar building structures focused role
* Proficiency at planning and organising workload
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Excellent presentation skills
* Familiarity with working under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Experience of working on a range of projects across a variety of sectors
Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
