Learning and Development Partner
within our Insurance & Functions team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the development of our people, helping them grow and thrive in their roles. You’ll be part of a team that’s passionate about learning and committed to delivering high-impact development solutions across a global, matrixed organisation.
We are looking for a strategic, proactive individual who has a highly consultative approach, is an expert in performance consulting and who can play a critical role in embedding a high-performance and learning culture.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to influence learning strategies across Insurance, and corporate functions. You’ll be joining a business that puts people first – with no shareholders, our customers and employees are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
Operating in diverse and highly regulated markets, this role will be responsible for delivering a wide array of learning interventions, that offer individuals access to learning & growth opportunities pertinent to their present roles and future career prospects for a dedicated subset of BU’s in I&F Partner with senior stakeholders and People Partners to understand business needs and translate them into impactful learning solutions to enable Education, Experience and Exposure for our employees Manage and coach a team of up to 10 direct reports, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration Oversee multiple large-scale projects and ensure alignment with Bupa’s strategic goals Use data and insights to evaluate programme effectiveness and continuously improve outcomes Champion inclusive learning practices that support diverse teams and individuals
What We’re Looking For
Proven success in managing large teams and delivering transformational & strategic L&D programmes across a range of geographies 10+ years of senior experience in learning and development, ideally across varied sectors including financial services and insurance working in a complex matrixed environment. Expert Knowledge of the end-to-end learning cycle and adult learning theories Ability to design and facilitate learning programs that enable experience, exposure and formal learning Strong project management skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders with confidence Strong presentation, facilitation skills and experience Confidence in writing plans and proposals for senior stakeholders and business planning purposes Knowledge & experience of managing and maintaining LMS solutions & online learning environments and best practice Experience of managing external vendors A highly collaborative, empathetic approach with a passion for helping others grow
