Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a fast growing investment manager to hire a Finance Manager. This is a permanent, full time role with hybrid working, three to four days in the Soho office.
The business is small, ambitious and scaling quickly. This role suits someone hands on who also wants exposure to strategy, working closely with the Finance Director and founders.
The role
You will own the day to day finance function while supporting the wider growth plans of the business. The remit is broad and high impact.
Key responsibilities
1. Full financial control and reporting across group entities
2. Preparation of quarterly management accounts and investor reporting
3. Revenue and cost management across property and holding companies
4. Loan administration including covenants, interest and bank reporting
5. Oversight of property manager finance relationships and tenant arrears
6. Project and investment accounting as required
7. Maintenance and onboarding of mandates into Yardi
8. Preparation and review of annual statutory accounts
9. Support across tax, audit, VAT, treasury and corporate matters
10. Continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and controls
About you
Essential
11. High energy, hunger and drive with a strong cultural fit
12. Background in financial services, real estate or retail
Desirable
13. SME environment experience
14. Short notice period
15. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Skills and experience
16. Qualified accountant
17. Real estate or retail property exposure preferred
18. Experience with real estate funds or REITs advantageous
19. Working knowledge of Yardi beneficial
