Adult Support Worker Location : Various rural locations across Stirlingshire. Salary: £12.60 - £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications). Adult Support Worker - About the role: To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to adults living in rural communities across Stirlingshire, enabling them to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life within their own homes. Key Responsibilities: Deliver care and support services as outlined in individual care plans, including personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and companionship. Support individuals with mobility, physical disabilities, and long-term health conditions. Promote independence and assist with tasks such as shopping, housework, and attending community activities. Travel independently between rural service users' homes, often in areas with limited public transport. Establish and maintain professional relationships with service users and their families, respecting their privacy and choices. Monitor and report any changes in health or wellbeing to the Care Coordinator or relevant health professionals. Maintain accurate and timely care records using digital or paper-based systems. Adhere to Health and Social Care Standards and company policies, including safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety. What we need from you: Essential requirements: A genuine passion for supporting adults in rural communities. Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to join). SSSC registration (or willingness to register within 6 months). Desirable: Previous experience in home care, social care, or health support roles. SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards). Familiarity with rural community life and associated challenges.
