Humanities Teacher – Liverpool

Milk Education Liverpool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our growing network of secondary schools. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Humanities Teacher who is committed to delivering inspiring lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, RE, or Social Sciences.

As a Humanities Teacher, you will play an essential role in helping students explore the world around them, develop critical‑thinking skills, and engage with a rich, varied curriculum. We are looking for a Humanities Teacher who is confident, enthusiastic, and able to bring their subject knowledge to life in the classroom.

Responsibilities of the Humanities Teacher:

1. Deliver high‑quality Humanities lessons that motivate and challenge students
2. Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work across relevant Humanities subjects
3. Assess student progress and provide effective feedback
4. Manage classroom behaviour consistently and positively
5. Collaborate with your department and wider school team
6. Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities

Requirements for the Humanities Teacher Role:

7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or suitable teaching qualification
8. Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
9. Strong subject knowledge within a Humanities discipline
10. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom‑management skills
11. A passion for helping young people achieve their full potential
