Become an Assistant Headteacher at our brand-new school Red Kite School, part of Acorn Education, and start working towards yours.

* £45,000 per annum (not pro-rata)
* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
* Permanent, Term Time only
Red Kite is a brand-new independent special educational needs school catering for up to 60 pupils with social and emotional health needs.

The opportunity
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership and be able to realize the ambitious vision of excellence in school life.
The successful candidate will have experience working with young people with complex learning needs and understand how these needs impact learning and behavior. Further details will be discussed at interview.
* Lead for Inclusion and SENCO
* Implement provisions to improve pupil progress
* Ensure statutory responsibilities regarding EHCPs are met
* Coordinate EHCP review meetings and paperwork
* Support staff in understanding SEN needs
* Promote inclusive practices and curriculum access
* Monitor progress and establish curriculum systems
* Work with SLT and staff to set high expectations
Qualifications Required
* UK QTS or equivalent
