Maintenance Engineer – Food Industry
CONTRACT ROLE
Location: Evesham
Rate: £40 per hour (Outside IR35)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days)
Contract Length: 3 months rolling
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with strong experience in the food manufacturing sector to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* As a Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly to minimize downtime.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
* Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a food manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
Desirable
* PLC fault-finding experience.
* Familiarity with automated packaging machinery.
