Due to exciting growth plans for 2025, our highly successful client near Cosham is recruiting for a Claims Manager to join them on a permanent basis. In this diverse and fast-paced role you will take full ownership of the end-to-end management of the claims function; leading the team, driving operational performance, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused claims service. This is a strategic and hands-on role, critical to the ongoing development and success of the claims operation. What you'll be doing: Manage the overall performance of the claims function, including people, processes, and systems. Lead, coach, and develop the claims team to ensure high standards of service. Own and refine claims strategies, policies, and procedures. Act as a senior escalation point for complex or high-value claims. Collaborate with senior leadership, underwriting, customer service, and external partners. Monitor and report on key claims metrics, trends, and risk indicators. Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, and customer outcomes. Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with Company procedures, policy terms and regulatory standards. Lead internal claims audits and support external regulatory or partner audits.
