Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. Duties
* Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and manage access in accordance with company policies
* Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within the premises
* Perform loss prevention duties by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or unauthorised access
* Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary
* Maintain a visible presence to deter potential troublemakers and provide assistance to visitors or staff as required
* Record incidents accurately and complete relevant reports for management review
* Collaborate with security teams and local authorities when required to uphold safety standards
Skills
* Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is highly desirable
* Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
* First aid certification or ability to provide immediate medical assistance in emergencies
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Strong observational skills with attention to detail
* Professional demeanour with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically
* Organised, reliable, and punctual with a strong sense of integrity
