Role: Azure DevOps Engineer
Contract duration : 6 months
Location: Glasgow, UK (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong skills in Terraform and Azure infrastructure to support ongoing CI/CD operations. This is a hands-on role focused more on deployment and infrastructure operations than on development. Youll be responsible for managing and refining deployment pipelines, executing runbooks, and ensuring infrastructure is correctly deployed, redeployed, and maintained across environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
Work with Jet/Jewels (internal tools or systems) to integrate and manage deployment processes.
Use Terraform to provision and maintain Azure infrastructure as code.
Deploy, redeploy, and adjust existing infrastructure based on predefined runbooks and operational requirements.
Manage Azure environments, including subscriptions, management groups, and a wide range of Azure services .
Work with event brokers and related messaging systems within the Azure ecosystem.
Ensure operational readiness and support for infrastructure deployments with minimal development required.
Skills & Experience Required:
Strong experience with Terraform infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
Solid understanding of Azure services, including:
Subscriptions and Management Groups
Core Azure infrastructure services (compute, networking, storage, identity)
Event Brokers (e.g., Event Grid, Event Hubs, Service Bus)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows.
Experience with Jet/Jewels systems (if internal, prior exposure is ideal).
Ability to follow runbooks and make operational infrastructure changes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
Python development experience
Nice to Have:
Experience working in enterprise-scale Azure environments.
Familiarity with Git-based version control and code repositories.
