The Governors and Leadership Team of St Joseph's Infant and Junior Schools are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Admin Clerk to join our schools.
Our core purpose is to improve outcomes and opportunities for the children in our community and we are looking for a Senior Admin Clerk who is highly organised, enthusiatic and movitvated and will support ensuring the smooth running of the school office.

Salary: £20197.94
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.45pm
Location: St Joseph's Schools, Chichester

Key roles and responsibilities include:
1. Providing comprehensive administrative support to the office manager and SLT
2. Daily attendance of pupils
3. Answering emails and telephone calls
4. Assisting the receptionist in welcoming visitors into the school ensuring school safeguarding procedures are followed
5. Pupil admissions
6. Trip organisation, correspondence and payments
7. Overseeing the daily administration within the school office
8. Manage and update the school website
9. Ordering
10. First Aid
11. Assist in the organising of events such as sports day
12. Ensure the office is kept tidy, organised and in good order at all times, making sure there are
sufficient resources available
13. Ensure that all working practices reflect the ethos and values of the school
14. Administration of newsletters
This job description sets out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up. The post holder may be required from time to time to undertake other duties within the school as may be reasonable expected, without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed. Person Specification
GCSE English and Mathematics
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Experience
Experience of working in an office environment
Ideally knowledge of Arbor, Parentpay and Canva, training can be provided
First Aid at work – or willing to undertake training
