We are currently seeking two highly motivated and meticulous Master Data Experts to be responsible for and own the quality, consistency, and accuracy of supplier data on a Permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Purchase To Pay Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for defining, governing, and maintaining master data, ensuring it is complete and consistent across various systems, impacting various departments and processes. Your work will support data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and timely supplier payments. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for supplier and business data inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
2. Create, maintain, and update supplier master data across multiple systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Paris).
3. Detect and mitigate fraud, implement data governance, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
4. Identify and resolve data discrepancies through audits, reviews, and analysis of large data sets.
5. Support continuous process improvements in collaboration with the Global Process Owner and cross-functional teams.
6. Collaborate with teams (e.g., Procurement, Tax, Treasury) to align on master data and prevent payment issues.
7. Train and support staff on master data standard methodologies and system usage; maintain up-to-date SOPs.
8. Track team critical metrics, contribute to performance improvements, and support onboarding of new team members.
9. Take ownership of personal development, stay current on policies and tools, and actively participate in performance discussions.
Qualifications and experience required:
1. Significant experience working within a Supplier Master Data team with a strong understanding of the Supplier Master Data process.
2. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and proficiency in Excel.
3. Good understanding of Accounts Payable and Payment processes impacted by Master Data.
4. Experience handling supplier data information and country-specific requirements.
5. Proven ability to analyze, present, and improve data to management and teams.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement approach.
7. Experience working in a shared service centre is preferred.
