Our client is a leading telecoms and technology R&D company. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-growth, regulated environment. In this role, you will work closely with the General Counsel in the team and collaborate with the wider legal team in Europe.
What you will be doing :
* Legal Advisory: Provide legal guidance across the business, from procurement and R&D to marketing and business development.
* Contract Management: Draft and review a wide range of agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, IP licenses, and real estate contracts etc.
* Compliance Support: Ensure the business meets statutory requirements for data protection, anti-bribery, modern slavery, and export controls.
* Conduct training sessions for non-legal staff on compliance issues and other legal risk areas
* Regional Collaboration: Work with the European legal team to support research centres across the U.K and EU.
What we are looking for:
* U.K. Qualified Solicitor
* At least 2 years post SQE experience in the technology sector, either in a law firm or in-house at a technology company
* Strong knowledge of UK commercial law, statutory compliance, IP, and data privacy.
* Ability to explain complex legal issues in plain, jargon-free English
* Good drafting skill
* Ability to build global relationships and work with diverse teams
* Excellent planning, attention to details
