The Role

You will have an opportunity to learn, train and develop as an IPS Employment Specialist and join the wider team in Surrey to provide a holistic employment support service to people across the geographical area.

The Service
Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an evidence-based employment support model that helps individuals with a background of substance misuse find work that aligns with their wellbeing. IPS is being expanded across the country with a commitment to have a service in all local authorities by 2024-2025.
The role is extremely rewarding, and you can make a lasting positive impact! A normal week will be:
* Working closely with the team carry a small caseload to support people to help them achieve their dreams through personalised employment support.
* Collaborating and contributing with wider teams including recovery practitioners, nurses, support workers and community organisations to encourage referrals.
* Learning effective employer engagement strategies to have quality contacts with a range of employers.
We require a passion to help others and a desire to contribute back to the community. This is an entry-level role and you will be given training to support your transition into the workplace.

Location
You will work in Surrey across multiple locations including i-access, Laurel House, Farnham Rd, Guildford GU2 7LX with a willingness travel as required. There will also be remote working and working in the communities. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed, and having a car will be advantageous.
