We are recruiting an experienced structural engineer on behalf of this well-established and boutique civil structural engineering consultancy near Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester. Having recently moved into beautiful offices with approximately 17 staff, they work on a mix of projects across numerous sectors and have strong partnerships with contractors and architects. You will work on some exceptional projects in sectors including residential, commercial, heritage, education, and leisure.
As a Structural Engineer, we are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience designing a variety of structural projects, both small and large, across multiple sectors. Ideally, you are on a chartership plan and looking to become chartered.
This role will develop into a senior structural engineer position over time, with support from associates and senior engineers to help you achieve this. It is well-suited for a competent structural engineer approaching senior level who is seeking a truly engaging consultancy that will support your development and enhance your engineering skills.

About you and the role
* Experience in designing a range of buildings, ideally 4 to 5 years
* Part of a highly experienced team of engineers, receiving good support and mentorship towards becoming a senior engineer
* Proficient in design software such as TSD, Tedds, Etabs, Masterseries, etc.
* Ideally on a chartership plan or on the way to becoming chartered
