About the Role
Providing dynamic leadership, you will proactively and positively lead the development of the Library's customer experience (on campus and digitally) to ensure a consistent and excellent service to all our customers. You will lead and continue to develop a high-performing and flexible team with a ‘one team' approach that puts the customer at the heart of everything we do.
You will support the campus experience by contributing to the development of library spaces, adapting to an evolving teaching & learning environment in line with the University strategies. Based in the University Library, and with responsibility for the customer experience and space in the Poetry Library, you will lead a large team in operating a 24/7 service during term time, attracting over 1,000 users at busy periods.
The Library and Cultural Services team are resourceful and passionate about providing excellent and evolving services to the University's 38,000 students and 5,000 staff. Digital innovation, service development, and an outstanding customer experience are central to us. We are agile, collaborative, inclusive, and bold.
