Product Manager – Operational Innovation - Supply Chain, Slough
Windward is a maritime AI leader helping governments and enterprises navigate risk, compliance, and geopolitical uncertainty across global trade. Our platform transforms massive unstructured datasets into real-time, actionable insights. From intercepting dark fleet tankers to predicting supply chain disruptions, we enable confident, data-driven decisions.
We are looking for a Product Manager with a passion for early-stage product exploration and a strong foundation in logistics or supply chain operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on discovering customer pain points, validating new ideas quickly, and translating opportunity into impact—with a focus on how GenAI can drive transformation in container logistics.
You will report to Windward's Supply Chain Director of Product, work closely with our customers and sales team to uncover operational inefficiencies, and explore how GenAI can address them. You’ll also collaborate with other product managers to shape the vision, align priorities, and ensure consistent execution across the organization.
This is a high-impact role with direct influence on Windward’s strategic direction in generative AI.
What will you do?
* Lead product discovery for GenAI-driven innovation in container logistics, identifying use cases with potential for operational transformation.
* Partner with customers, sales, and domain experts to uncover inefficiencies in workflows that GenAI can address.
* Conduct market research and interviews to validate ideas, analyze industry trends, and understand customer expectations in logistics and supply chain domains.
* Design and run rapid experiments to test hypotheses, leveraging prototypes and zero-to-one thinking.
* Translate learnings into early-stage product specs and influence the GenAI roadmap.
Who are you?
* 5+ years in product management, preferably in B2B SaaS or data-driven platforms.
* Experience with logistics, supply chain, or container shipping, either through industry work or product development.
* Proven ability in early-stage product discovery, from zero to one, including user research and hypothesis testing.
* Willingness to travel up to 50%.
* Strong communication skills to engage with customers and stakeholders.
* Collaborative mindset and experience working within a product team.
* Curiosity about generative AI and its applications.
* Analytical skills and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
