Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for an experienced TA to join a Secondary SEN School in Enfield, providing vital support to students with SEMH and behavioural challenges.
Job Details
* Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Location: SEN Secondary School, Enfield (EN3)
* Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Long-term, full-time)
* Start Date: After half term
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH and behavioural needs.
2. Collaborate with teachers to develop personalised learning plans.
3. Assist in lesson delivery to ensure full participation.
4. Support students in building independence and confidence across school life.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with SEMH students or in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs).
* Strong communication skills and empathy in managing challenging behaviours.
* Passionate about making a positive difference in students’ lives.
* Committed to a long-term, full-time role.
