About the Role This is a great opportunity to join a growing, highly motivated distribution team supporting the Northern Sales Director and Northern Business Development Management (BDM) Team. This position is suitable for a candidate eager to learn and aspiring for career growth within the sales team. Permanent Reporting to the Northern Sales Director, the role involves supporting the Northern BDM team with various sales activities. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting the Northern BDM team with information to drive new business opportunities pre- and post-sale. Providing immediate support to the Northern Sales Director with regular updates through 121 meetings. Gaining a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services and their suitability for clients. Developing communications for advisers identified by the distribution team. Collating adviser information from various sources to support panel building and maintenance. Liaising with central functions to support distribution of materials, messaging, and information. Managing FE licence updates and access for financial advisers. Attending team meetings to capture and act on action points. Researching topics such as adviser data and competitor analysis. Monitoring industry publications for emerging themes. Arranging adviser meetings and events, supporting both virtual and physical attendance. Following up on events with data collection, CPD certificates, and adviser contact. Managing and editing content on the Distribution Intranet (SharePoint) and Training (Degreed) pages. Building relationships with advisers and assisting with booking meetings. Backing up CRM due diligence processes when needed. Liaising with various departments including heads of office, investment managers, research, and marketing. Developing a working plan with the Northern Sales Director to meet support needs. Proactively managing the adviser prospect list.
