Stock and Systems Administrator – Wincanton
Location: Bridgwater, TA6 6TS (supporting the HPC Nuclear Build at Hinkley Point C)
Summary and purpose of the position: To support the planning and operations teams for the readiness and compliance of deliveries in and out of the building. The role involves system‑based actions, routine auditing, quality checking, and ensuring the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is accurate and fully compliant.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development and improvement of stock and systems processes across the contract.
* Collaborate with the Technical team to monitor equipment maintenance throughout its lifecycle.
* Maintain and review documented stock procedures to ensure compliance with licence conditions.
* Enter pick data into the WMS system accurately and traceably.
* Review inbound and outbound deliveries to confirm accuracy and procedure compliance.
* Achieve departmental KPIs and contractual targets.
* Oversee cycle‑counting activities, analyse results, and recommend corrective actions.
* Report system issues promptly following the operational escalation process.
* Align physical stock with system records through effective inventory management.
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies thoroughly.
* Address and resolve customer and ad‑hoc stock‑related queries efficiently.
* Ensure departmental compliance with all relevant policies and support audit tasks.
* Generate and update reports to support warehouse and customer operations.
Experience, Skills and Attributes
* Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Manhattan WMS experience is advantageous.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail with a methodical approach.
* Strong computer and numeracy skills; proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Previous experience in a warehouse, stock control, or administrative role is beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
* Ability to stay organised and focused in a fast‑paced environment.
* Willingness to learn and contribute to smooth daily operations.
* A full UK driving licence is desirable.
